We had to pay extra to upgrade to a suite because our original room was tiny and rather depressing. The room was smelly - probably not aired out enough. Beds in the suite were good size but squeaky and one had a whole under the mattress fixed with a cardboard. Breakfast is part of the deal, however, it’s basically the same food (a plate with rice, beans, scrambled...

“This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. ”
