I loved the property. The bed was great, and the room was big enough for my husband and me. About the only downside was the size of the shower..,a bit small. The breakfast provided was excellent. We sat outside on the deck both mornings we were there. Very peaceful. The staff member was very helpful. He provided a big bowl of fruit each morning along with other food they provide. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the historic town. I would recommend this b&b.

This was a great starting point for our visit to Cinque Terre. Just a 10 minute leisurely stroll to the train station, and even shorter down to the beach. The breakfast was exceptional, even including oranges that one could press into juice! Friendly and helpful staff, and a small number of guests - maybe 12 - made everything very cozy. Would warmly recommend a stay here!

We had fabulous 3 night stay at Locanda Il Maestrale. The location towards the end of the main shopping street in old town Monterosso is excellent as it is quiet and convenient yet close to the shopping district and many excellent restaurants. It is also a short walk to the public beach and beach club in old town, the ferry dock and less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hosts were friendly and helpful and met us upon arrival for an easy check in and showing of the room and property. The daily breakfast included with the room was very good with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cold meats, coffee, tea, juice and other items served in the outdoor covered terrace. Coffee, pastries, fruit and a cold water dispenser were available 24/7. If you are looking for a conveniently located bed and breakfast with friendly hosts, clean and quiet rooms and a healthy delicious breakfast Locanda Il Maestrale comes highly recommended.
