“Older, value-priced property that has signs of updating including new, quiet room hvac’s and door card readers. Comfortable beds. This is my first choice when traveling to Grinnell”

“I appreciated the helpfulness of every staff member I interacted with, customer service was very important to them, and I felt like they truly valued my business. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet.”

“Have family in Oskaloosa and stayed here last weekend helping them at their house. Was very impressed with the property. Room was clean, smelled good and had recent updates. Comfortable too. Would stay here again.”

“There was no hot water either the night we arrived or the next morning-very disappointing”

“The free breakfast was crap. Wasn’t nothing but cereal, old toast and premade pancakes you had to microwave.”

“Clean property under new ownership. Effectively empty of all guests and staff during our stay. Property has tons of potential and a great location but having no staff throughout the day was awkward.”
