stay in the Royal Plaza
During my stay in Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa was so wonderful for their good services and upgrade program. The meals also very good, most of all ,the location of the hotel was fine for walking the lakeside. Only the access to the underground parking was somehow difficult for me but the space was enough for parking. I had a good memory to the Hotel, and hope to visit Montreux again in the future and stay at the Royal Plaza.

멋진 리버뷰를 감상할 수 있는 호텔.
몽트뢰라는 도시에서는 나름 좋은 호텔일지는 모르겠지만, 일단 호텔의 시설이 많이 낡긴 했어요. 낡았어도 최대한의 서비스와 좋은 환경을 만들기위해 노력한다는 것은 마음에 많이 와 닿았습니다. 직원들도 매우매우 친절했고, 조식도 정말 맛있었어요!

1.소음 ;밤새도록 일층에서 음악소리 2. 호텔스닷컴에서 child 나이가 17세라고 check 해서 예약후 호텔저녁 메니저가 어떻게 내딸이 child라며 비웃으며 4번씩 지적하더니 오늘만 특별히 해준다며 첵크인함 ;호텔스닷컴 정책을 이해못하고 있슴 3.방은 무척 좁음 4.아침은맛있슴 위치는 좋음 5.엥겔스베르그의 라마다가좋음(스위스패스로 기차50분)

5satr hotel with Incredible unkindness service
When we had arrived this hotel, they require us to credit card for guarantee(What guarantee?? TouristTax, Resort Tax, Tax Tax Tax, minibar, etc....). But we don't have credit card. So we have to give them prepayment 300 CHFS!!! Even though we already pay every cost but we feel disgard that they consider us as a beggar. They didn't explain us any information of hotel.. restaurant, swimming pool, cafe.... They just give us room key and very unkindness. Even though we have to find ourself elevateor. We got back guarantee 259 after automatically payment Tax, Tax, Tax. Another Swiss hotel they didn't require Tax and guarantee. This is the first time we experience unreasonable regulation of hotel. They have good location and view, facility but I never recommend to the people because of unkindness staff.

Lovely three night stay. Hotel is old school but in a positive way. All the staff are very attentive and helpful. The public areas are immaculately maintained and our room was spotless. The hotel has direct access onto the lakeside promenade. It's a fifteen minute walk into the town centre and about 1 hour walk to Chateau Chllon.

Beautiful views across the lake. Friendly staff, well appointed room. The build site next door was a little noisy, but nothing that spoiled our stay.

Likes: Room had nice views of Lake Geneva and mountains; Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Hotel was close to Bus Stop (but far from train station and main part of town). Needs Improvement: In one room the thermostat did not work properly and was very hot. The other rooms fan was very loud – got a headache from constant noise and needed a Motrin.

Die Sicht auf den See von den Restaurants und Zimmern aus ist fantastisch. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut. Einzig das Wellness ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und im Verhältnis zur Hotelgrösse klein. Die Preis-Leistung stimmt aber.

Great view
The view from the hotel if you are blessed to have a lake view room is amazing. The hotel does appear a little tired in places. The bed was firm for a side sleeper. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Not all amenities were open at the time of our stay. The bar was expensive. While the hotel is at the other end of the lake promenade from the centre, it is a nice walk and not too far.
