"Lovely property in a wonderful location. Close to Newport, but serene and private. My room had a beautiful ocean view. Enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach right from the property. "

"The cafe and restaurant onsite was nice but very slow service. It took 30 minutes for a coffee. We waited for a server to come but ended up getting breakfast elsewhere because she didn’t come over to us. It seemed to be the case for multiple people. The room was nice, although small. Beautiful ocean view. Nice pool, sauna, and fitness center. Parking is limited especially on weekends. Great access to the beach. We didn’t see a lot of water bottle refill stations. Upon check-in they said I didn’t book a pet friendly room but definitely did. Although they made an exception, the manager guilt tripped me and kept making comments how they’re making an exception, which I found was very unprofessional. The morning manager upon check out was very lovely and nice so maybe the night time manager had a bad day. Overall, I don’t think I’d stay here again for the price. I enjoy the BW and the amenities are way better. But if you’re going for more of a classy aesthetic, this is a great place. "

"The property is being kept up and the ADA room we were in was recently painted. The bed was comfortable. This is a very basic motel right off the main highway but it was still quiet. There was a refrigerator, TV, microwave and hairdryer. There are several fast food places and quick markets nearby plus it's only a few minutes drive to old town Newport or Nye Beach"

" Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. "

"No nothing at all. Terrible for the price. Chairs were ripped in the room and carpets were dirty.Not worth the price what a roip off.."

"Our stay was the coziest experience I’ve had in a while. We loved our room, being near the ocean, the fire pit for s’mores, and vegetarian breakfasts cooked fresh in the morning. I loved feeling taken care of with little details to make our stay nice, yet no one bugged us for anything and we felt so chill and at ease at this property. We’ll be back! "
