Our room at Ocean House was very nice. It had a sitting area with a view of the ocean and a gas fireplace. We were welcomed with a detailed explanation of the amenities and a complimentary glass of wine. There were complimentary freshly baked cookies, soda, bottled water and microwave popcorn. The bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious. Ours was French toast and fruit. I would recommend and definitely stay again!

We had the White Caps room which had a beautiful ocean view. There is no tv in the room but we didn’t care. Breakfast is served sit down at 9:00. The gas fireplace was quite warming on a cool evening.

Ocean House has a wonderful location overlooking the Oregon Coast with an easy direct access to a fantastic beach. Our room had great views of the sea from two windows (as advertised). The room itself was spacious, clean, very comfortable and well equipped: the bed and linens were especially nice. It was a little difficult to control the temperature of the room using the heater/AC and in the end we turned it off, at this time of year (late autumn/early autumn) this worked out perfectly. There were good places to eat within walking distance (Shark's was really good) which was pleasant bonus. The public areas of the B&B were very stylish and comfortable. Our only slightly negative comment was about the breakfast: it was perfectly OK and similar to one we might have made at home but it was not exactly the "gourmet breakfast" promised in the description of the property.

Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area.

The property was amazing. The stay was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was amazing. Just remember if you drive an oversized vehicle like I do you might want to take your wife’s smaller car as they do not have a whole lot of parking there and what parking they do have is only for regular size, smaller sedans, and smaller SUVs it is not meant for something like my truck being an F250 four-door crew cab lifted on 37 tall tires. Other than that, that day is perfect there’s lots of good restaurants in this town. There’s beach access like within walking distance down a few stairs right from the property you get right on the beach. It was fantastic. I can’t wait to stay there once again.
