“The Abraham was a comfortable stay in a self-contained farm cottage. It had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a good shower, warm heater and washing machine. Sean was a very friendly and helpful landlord with plenty of helpful advice about dinner options and local sites. We had a wonderfully quiet couple of days. ”

“We lived the quietness and the fireplace for reading.”

“The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property. There is a true commitment to quality and sincere warmth in both staff and housekeeping.”

“Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. “Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals.”

“Close to town of Carlow”

“Wonderful stay at Silken Thomas. Highly recommend. Fabulous rooms only bettered by the wonderful staff. Food great in restaurant also and close to shopping village.”

“I loved this property. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was so kind”

“The Abhainn Ri B&B was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. The land is STUNNING, the breakfast was delicious, and Niamh is kind, helpful, and welcoming. One of my favorite parts about our stay was taking a sunset walk on the property grounds and being present with the Irish countryside. Other highlights include the delicious homemade scones in the morning and how comfortable our room was. When I come back to Ireland, I will certainly make a point to revisit Abhainn Ri.”

“We had a lovely stay at Firecastle. Kildare is a magical area with lots to do and see in walking distance. The room we stayed in was beautiful and well appointed, breakfast was delicious and the staff were all really nice. I highly recommend Firecastle.”

“Basic but functional room. Check in was fine but a man of few words.”
