"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We were only there one night, unfortunately, but really enjoyed the excellent room they provided us. Most of all was the greeting staff and the bartender ‘hanging’ out with us and sharing with us about them and the area. We did not have dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was amazing. Even for a one-night visit, this was good choice for us. A warm and friendly environment."

"The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the train station but they also had a shuttle that could pick you up from the train station. The staff was friendly and the room was nice with a great view of the Matterhorn. The spa facilities were very fantastic and was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. The only issue we had was they were renovating the room next to us, so the construction noise was quite loud in the afternoon when we checked in. We just spent the afternoon in the spa area so it wasn't a big deal and we were only there for one night. I did mention this at checkout, and they apologized and said that if we had let them know, they would have stopped the work. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
