I’ve been to Pátzcuaro several times but this was the first time staying at Mansion Iturbe. The staff were friendly, attentive, welcoming, and in my opinion went above and beyond with the quality of service. Our room was impeccably clean, and one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve been to in Mexico. The hotel is such a jewel of a building with its colonial styling and decor. Our family loved this establishment. The only regret I have is not having stayed longer. We’ll have to make a trip again and stay here in future. Thank you for making our visit so memorable, and a very specially thank you to Don Rafael for his help at check in, and ever so cheerful greetings every day of our stay! 🙏 Sincerely, Jaime

The hotel was beautiful. Conveniently located in the Zocalo. The on site restaurant was good and convenient. The staff was friendly. The only issue I had was the lack of Air Conditioning. The hotel listing said it was an ammenity but wasn’t the case.

Mansión Iturbe was absolutely amazing. We stayed during Dia de Muertos and the location could not have been better. We were staying tight across the street from food vendors, the pop up market and all of the entertainment the town had to offer. We were able to walk everywhere. There are so many dining locations to pick from and in walking distance. The hotel staff was incredibly kind. There were water dispenser and ice located near the rooms for your convenience. There was no need to buy water, we just filled up our stainless steel water bottles. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious.

This is the second visit to Iturbe and we won't stay anywhere else when visiting Patzcuaro. The hotel is amazing and the service is outstanding. The location is the best! For sure, out most favorite hotel.

A grand old hotel with beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, toiletries, and thoughtful touches such as in room carafes that can be filled with water from a jug in the hallway, and a hot water dispenser with a selection of teas and instant coffee. Don’t hesitate to stay here.
