“It is off the beaten path. Beautiful view of the sunset!!! Very personal. It was nice to have a human being to greet you at the office. I don't care for properties where there is no one there to greet you and they just leave you a code to get into your room. If I am staying at someone's home or bed and breakfast that is a totally different story.
I think maybe they have new owners. None the less, we were very happy with our stay.”

“I stayed at the Red Caboose motel as a child. 40 years later, it is still a really neat and unusual place to stay. A lot of remodeling has been done on the cabooses in that time, but the amenities are great. Staff was very attentive and friendly -- you know, the kind of staff that enjoys their job and make it show every time. Our caboose had four bunks, a double bed, TV, A/C, electric baseboard heat, a hot shower, nice bathroom sink, fridge/freezer, microwave. We enjoyed our stay and look...
