This place with the address 101 Diemer Drive for Extended Stay America was really dirty compared to the other Extended Stay America over at 500 Diemer Drive which was just across the parking lot. It had roaches and bugs and all. There were glue traps that were down to catch them and all. I was really concerned about my dog catching fleas and such. Plus the dog fees were outrageous to the tune of $173 on top of the average price of like $650 per week. Then they were having to come in every week for pest control spraying which also concerned me for my dog as well. I work 12-14 hour days at my restaurant, so I was always having to get up while breaking my sleep as well. It was a horrible experience for me here. So now I’m going back to 500 Diemer Drive.

I spent 3 nights at this hotel and the lady at the front desk was so rude to me first I asked if I can pay cash and she said no, it was an hour from check out and she kept saying to me it HAS to be before 11 if I book online than 11am comes and she immediately knocks on my door, kind of with an attitude and I said I need 10 more minutes and she said 10 more minutes that’s it 10 more minutes like she reiterated 10 more minutes 3 times I said OK. She came back 10 more minutes later and I told her I needed a couple more minutes and she was giving me an extreme attitude through the she was trying to open the door literally trying to open the door in the room and I said give me another minute. I’m trying to get my stuff ready and she said she was gonna call the police on me now this was before 11:30 AM. I got threatened to EMR

This hotel…as soon as we walked in the hotel, we were overpowered with this terrible musky smell. And the whole lobby and everything was outdated. So we checked in and they don’t tell you until you get there that they hold $150 for a good week. We got into the elevator and there was another customer that just checked in and he also said it absolutely smelled terrible and I hope that the rooms didn’t smell that bad either. However, when my husband and I walked into the room, it was such a disgusting smell. We had to open the windows trying and air it out. It just didn’t go away. We do know that the other couple that was in the elevator with us left that night because I couldn’t take the smell. And the rooms were very very outdated. We didn’t even wanna take a shower in the room. We’ll never stay there again. And when we checked out, I told the woman that there was a terrible smell in the room in the hallways and she said yeah, we’ve been having a problem with that. But no one said anything to us. And no one offered us a certain amount off for the terrible stay… nothing.

Have you looked at your rooms lately? The refrigerator was old and disgusting. The room door had posters torn off which damaged the door, the floor had not been mopped - all in bathroom and outside bath door were spill drops. No automatic door at your building entrance to bring in luggage. Why don’t you have maintenance do some repairs and upgrades?

They say you get what you pay for but for extended stay I expected a lot more. The bathroom was disgusting. The counter needed to be replaced. The tub needed to be replaced. It was just unacceptable.
