Once entering the Mount Airy casino and resort I was instantly appalled at the customer service I received. I entered the building in search of the front desk to check in, me and my guest enter the second floor were the host that was checking identification was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. My guess being a colored man went to the front and provided his identification to enter the floor to cut through to the area were the front desk was located. my guest provided not only a copy of his temporary license Provided by the DMV But a NYC identification with a picture to prove his age. Instead of referring us to management he went to speak with the hostess and returned to my guess and informed him to wait away from the line. I was next I provided my NYS identification and was told to go to the front desk. I informed the host at the front desk that I was with my guest attending this resort together. At that time I was told that we both had to wait to be escorted by security to the front desk. It was beyond embarrassing I will never go there again. The first impression ruined the whole trip. I wasn’t informed Upon arrival what was included in the resort fee. I really would like a full refund for my stay. The whole Intention of the stay was to attend the casino and enjoy our anniversary. Instead I wasted my money for an uncomfortable stay at a place where I felt my guess was targeted and I was subjected to an uncomfortable outcome. A waste of my time and money. Horrible !
