"Very friendly staff. We stay here with or without our dogs every time we visit Redding. This place loves dogs. The rooms are clean and you can’t hear anyone outside. Very insulated. Outdoors they have benches and tables to gather around and relax. They have a dog area, too. Very secure. They close up side in and out gates at night so you can only drive in and out from the entrance of the hotel late at night. We have never had any problems with parking, too. I would recommend this place to stay when visiting Redding. "

"We always stay at comfort inns, but this one was way below par. The bed was not comfortable like all the other comfort Hotel beds, and now we have some pain issues. The towels were extremely thin! Haven’t seen thin towels like that except on basement bargain motels in a long time and then to top off everything, there were roaches in the bread container in the breakfast room. We were offered to have our room comped, but because we booked through Expedia, we have not received any refund yet. I am told it it’s very difficult to get money back from Expedia and to just book directly with the Hotels from now on. We stayed at three other choice hotel properties and did not have these problems. We did book those through the Choice app. This one was a last-minute, we need to sleep kind of transaction. Worst decision of our whole trip."

"I'm pretty picky about hotel rooms and this place is squeaky clean. On top of that, theit coffee and breakfast bag they give you was perfect for my travels. This motel has recently done major renovations which includes top of the line Fixtures like the shower and toilet. "

"I arrived to the lobby, and the two people that were at the desk seemed very unfriendly, and like they did not want to be there immediately felt uneasy. When we got to our room, there was instantly an odor. Yes, I was aware that the hotel in rooms were older, but I don’t think that justifies it for being absolutely disgusting. There were a bunch of stains all over the carpet and even on the lampshades and as soon as we walked in, we were extremely uncomfortable and it just felt so dirty within five minutes of being in the room we decided we did not want to stay there so we went to the desk and told them we were canceling and leaving and then we ended up driving home another seven hours instead of staying in that room. If at all possible, I would love to get a refund."
