Gordon Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our brief stay at Gordon Lodge. Unfortunately, it was too windy to take advantage of the kayaks, which was one of the things that drew us to the property. Also, we were there on Monday and Tuesday - the 2 days that the restaurant isn't open (at least not at this time of year) so we did not get to try that. But the room was great, we enjoyed the trails, pool, and hot tub. Breakfast was also quite good, and the staff was very friendly. I'd stay again if I'm back in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful area and the view out of our window was great. They wooden blinds over the large windows were easy to lift and lower so that we could enjoy privacy at night and the beautiful scenery during the day."

"We had an amazing stay at this Inn. The staff were very friendly, kind and thoughtful all through out our visit. This was our very first trip that included our 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier and the staff was very welcoming to her. They asked if we needed anything extra but, thankfully, we were well prepared and the stay was everything we could have wanted and more. Beautiful, well maintained grounds, nice indoor pool and hot tub, warm cozy outdoor gas fire pit with plenty of seating. Conveniently located within short distance of Sister Bay, Downtown Ephram, Egg Harbor, Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek and Sturgeon Bay. Easy walking with so much beautiful scenery to take in and enjoy. If you have the opportunity to stay here, it is well worth it. We plan to make this Inn our go-to for overnights and weekends in Door County. This is a beautiful , well staffed and welcoming establishment. It simply doesn't get any better than this place. 5+****** rating !!"

"We were really impressed by the resort considering it’s not something brand new nor a chain. The property was very well maintained & had lots of self-entertainment activities that were offered. The included breakfast was better than expected. We did have an issue with our jet tub “dying” during our stay, but the maintenance gentleman came in and fixed it right away. The resort staff is very responsive & kind. It is a very quiet area. We’re a little bit on the “younger” side, compared to probably their normal clientele based on who we mostly observed, but we enjoyed the atmosphere and the quiet serenity of it. The views from the room we’re impeccable. Door county general is probably just not for us, but if we were to ever come back this direction, we would absolutely stay here and we would recommend to others to stay as well!"

"Nice pool and hot tub area. Loved that our room had a kitchette. Deck had comfy chairs. Bed was ok as we are used to a dream cloud at home. Loved the fireplace! Everything was wonderful"

"We had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff was helpful. The gym was wonderful. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was good. I have celiac so nothing I could eat except the fruit and coffee, but that’s all I needed. I would stay here again."
