โWe enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. โ
โI had a very bad experience at this hotel. The air conditioner was full of dust, and the carpet smelled so bad that it gave me a headache. The bed felt damp and uncomfortable.
The only good thing was the staff โ they were kind and tried to help. But overall, I do not recommend this place.

โThis hotel is fantastic. Actually, my wife used this hotel several times to visit my son in Darmouth. She said every time when she stayed in this hotel the people working in this hotel are very kind and gentle. And new interiors are renewed, so hotel room is very clean and nice. Most of all, at the last day she have to go to Dartmouth coach station at the last day, the hotel step drive stop on the bus station with out any reward. Very thank you about your kind. โMy recent stay exceeded my expectations regarding hotel room prices, comfort of the bed and pillows, large breakfast and hot shower.
Unfortunately most staff were not very friendly or accommodating minus the one sweet girl at the front desk who was able to allow us a late checkout time. โ
