"This stay was far above ANYWHERE we have EVER stayed! The grounds were spectacular! The room was so comfy, it felt like home. The best part was our host, Dominique, and the incredible breakfast that was served every morning. If you walk away hungry, it is your own fault! "We wanted something special for our last night of our 2 week road trip and we found it. A lovely place off the main road on a farm. Very comfortable beds and because of the shutters we were able to shut out the early morning sun. So we got a very good night's rest. In the morning we were greeted by our host with a wonderful basket of croissant, bread and pain au chocolat which we were able to eat on the terrace at the back. "Séjour très agréable. Accueil, chambre spacieuse et literie confortable, à disposition machine à café et thé. Le ménage est fait régulièrement. Tout est parfait. Le clos des sureaux est très bien situé pour la visite des chateaux de la loire (10 à 15 kms de Blois, Ambroise, cheverny, chambord). Certaines chambres ont une ouverture directe sur le jardin verdoyant. Un jaccuzi et hamam sont également à disposition à l'extérieur. Nous avons vraiment apprécié. "

"Loved this hotel….. the room (water view) was huge, big bathroom well appointed. The building is really quite something. Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. I will go back if I can…"
