"Incredibly warm and helpful staff, and a beautiful space with stunning historic details — especially in the common areas. We liked being so centrally located in the Medina, and the breakfast was generous and delicious."

"I choose the smaller economy room this time, and it was still decently sized. Also spent more time relaxing on the lounges on the 4th and 5th floors.
Honestly, the hotel is great. Good location, helpful staff, close to a Monoprix supermarket."

"We stayed in Tunis for three nights and absolutely loved this beautiful, historic hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. I was specifically looking for a traditional dar experience, and this place was perfect! The hotel staff was friendly and easy to communicate with.
Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and the room stayed quiet at night, which made for a great sleep. Breakfast was included and was quite good with a variety of pastries, cheeses, eggs yogurt and dried fruit and granola. I also booked a hammam spa experience on our last day—it was very enjoyable and something I’d recommend. You need to book 24 hours in advance. Leave plenty of time for the experience which includes a 30 or 45 min massage, plus hammam and gommage.
We also dined at the hotel restaurant one night, which served a delicious and generous meal. The price was a little higher but it was very convenient for our dinner after a long day of touring.
The hotel is located in the old Medina, so you’ll be dropped off by taxi at a nearby square, and from there it’s just a short walk (less than five minutes) to the entrance. It’s also within walking distance of a lively area where it’s easy to catch a taxi and explore the city’s sights. We booked a day tour through Viator and the guide met us at the hotel.
