“This property is unique. If you are looking for a cookie cutter experience, look elsewhere. It is impossible to describe -- you feel like you are living in someone's home. The owner greets you at breakfast, the staff bends over backwards to take care of you. It is a very gracious, charming experience and the property is beautiful. At every corner is another piece of artwork. It is old world and classic and just a little quirky. Fantastic! Also, it is right in the center of the historic downtown....

“Luz is a great place to stay. We returned after 10 years and what a great surprise to see some familiar faces and some great new ones as well. “This boutique hotel wasn’t our plan, but fortunately was just around the corner from the VRBO property we had booked and which turned out to not to be habitable because of some technical problems.
The owners were very nice and very helpful to us during the four days we stayed there. The restaurant was excellent and the margarita they made was the best one I had in Mexico.
