“Basic, but served the purpose. Nice staff 👍”

“Superbe séjour dans un endroit grandiose.”

“The best!!!”

“We were warmly received by Donatella and her daughter, Francesca. Donatella was very gracious and created marvelous treats for breakfast. Her homemade apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Francesca was amazing and helped us coordinate ferry schedules, dinner reservations, and activities. The setting is gorgeous and idyllic. Truly a unique and fabulous stay.”

“Everything was perfect except for lunch. Just bit too pricy for 2 ppl for €540 & foods & cooking quality just normal not fine dining. You can find more nice top quality restaurant near here with good price.”

“Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.”

“Brand new B&B in a small mountain town. Excellent facility - extremely clean and organized. Check-in was a breeze. Outside deck area for breakfast in the morning was perfect. A brother and sister own the place together and they are very accommodating and helpful. The town is very small (the road directly in front of the B&B is two way, but really only fits one car at a time so it is a bit of a challenge) but is well located to visit Lake Como or Lugano close by,”

“Amazing Place , amazing views, an absolute gem”

“This is the most beautiful spot in Europe. It's great for walks and meditation. It would be a perfect place to retire because everyone is so friendly and everything is beautiful. It is another my home.”

“The staff was amazing. The location of the hotel is amazing in front of the lake. They are very helpful. They arranged all our trips. They arranged for us a boat trip around Lake Como. It was something to remember for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend this hotel if you have enough budget and want the top of the top of the top.”

“This was my first stay at this hotel in Cernobbio and my favourite Hotel is now converted into luxury apartments, so I needed a new Hotel in Cernobbio. This hotel is brilliant and I will stay again. Its in a great position and the downstairs has to be seen to be believed and luckily the room had a balcony with great views. The staff were also very professional and engaging and the food was very good and quick. See you soon guys- if you will have me.”
