โThis B&B is a hidden gem. A perfectly lovely place to stay outside the bustle and high cost of Como. The host Elia is friendly and caring. He made sure we knew where to park, asked us when weโd like breakfast, told us about the area. Heโs a genuinely kind man. The place was recently renovated, with modern amenities. โ
โStaying at Aurum was one of the most memorable parts of my time in Como. The Stripes Room was incredibleโstylish, bold, and full of character. What really stood out was the artwork in the room itself. It wasnโt just decorativeโit added emotion and depth, creating a space that felt both modern and personal. Itโs rare to find a hotel room that inspires you visually the way this one did.
The design was refined and thoughtful, with a perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. Every detail, from...
โWe loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxiโs back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF) โ
โWhat an amazing property. Great history but tastefully updated to be a comfortable stay. Sorry we didn't book dinner there! Location is fantastic as well. everything walkable. โ
โI would highly recommend the Hotel San Giuseppe. It is a must stay if you are traveling to Cernobbio Italy. It is a family owned and operated hotel which is beautifully maintained and decorated. The owners and their children are all pleasant, friendly and eager to assist which has created a welcoming atmosphere to all guests.
