"Parts of the room were aged. The curtains were old, the sink was poorly caulked. The bathroom door was damaged, the bathroom door frame was missing the edging, and the shower curtain did not stop the water from spilling over."

"You’d better off staying out of this town. I paid 180$ for a room that smelt funny, it was dark, not maintained. No pool. People curling their hair in the breakfast room while others ate. The bath tub round metal piece came off the bottom of the tub. You could hear people walking upstairs and you heard the shower and toilet flush from everyone around the room."

"I had a great stay at Boarders Inn & Suites in Waukon. The hotel is run by a very nice family, and their excellent customer service truly stands out. They were warm, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. One suggestion that would make the experience even better is adding a laundry room for guests. It would be a helpful convenience, especially for longer stays. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and the wonderful people who run it."
