The expert++ slopes can be another surplus if you are expert level. The onsen is luxury level. Sitting in the hotel water with snow falling on your head, especially at Lotte's well groomed onsen is unforgettable. The food at the hotel is not luxury level and limited as the location is all on its own with the city being 20-30 mins...

“I just loved loved loved loved loved staying here — the owners are wonderful. Extremely hospitable and helpful. It has a local Japanese vibe that you don’t get in some places The rooms were super comfortable and well heated, breakfast was yummy. Thank you for the warm hospitality ”

“If I will be in this town again someday, I will stay again at this hotel. All hotel members are really good. Especially every breakfast was great. Thanks for all your service. ”

“The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance.
