APA Hotel Nagasaki Ekimae is a nice hotel in Nagasaki. It is near JR Nagasaki Station. Staff are friendly. However, the room is relatively small.

Handy hotel

Handy to the station and very nice breakfast with added optional alcoholic drink menu ( ¥500) as the dining room is an Irish Pub. I rather liked this smaller Apa and would stay again

Nice hotel closed by Nagasaki Station

The place is well equipped for a quick trip to Nagasaki on the new year's eve. It was a cost-effective place to stay. The room is comfortable with everything you need within; besides it is just 5-7 min walking to JR Nagasaki Station

Very clean

Room was much smaller than the APA hotel in Kagoshima. I could barely mover around with my luggage and all. Great business hotel or for someone very light on luggage. The location, right across the street from the station, was great. Restaurant and breakfast were really good. Nice little pub in the evenings. Not too far from shopping and a few attractions. Very clean. Fixtures were all updated. Check-in staff were a little cold and uninviting. Staff working the next morning were very friendly and helpful. End of the day, I’d stay here again despite the close quarters.

APA Hotel Nagasaki Ekimae, ok let's get the negatives out the way, I've stayed in APA hotels before, this is not their best property, it felt tired, smelt of tobacco smoke in places (the lift) and lacked some of the amenities of their other hotels. That said the staff were amazing, helpful, knowledgable and courteous. The cleaners had worked diligently and everywhere in my room was clean and tidy. it is fantastically located for the station, shops and streetcars, with short journey times to all the places you're coming to visit Nagasaki for. I will forgive APA Hotel Nagasaki Ekimae negatives, because I fell in love with Nagasaki, I'm not really sure what I expected from my visit before I arrived but I can't wait to return to this beautiful little gem of a city.

They serve breakfast in the pub nextdoor. The breakfast is acceptable but the cream is not kept cold and the boxes of single malt that setve as decoration haven't been dusted in quite some time. Lots of amenities, but towels aren't as good as others in the chain. Bathroom is really small and there is no place for shower stuff in the shower. Toilet sounds like a waterfall when flushed. Location is very convenient to all transportation. Area has character...search out the non tourist places.
