Felt alot safer than other cities in East and West Africa. Also alot cleaner! It's modern, cosmopolitan and tons of great food options. The fact is has a national park makes it different from other cities so you get the best of both worlds.

It's a large and sprawling city with a wonderful national park and interesting animal preservation. We only saw a fraction and would enjoy more time there with friendly people. Traffic can be bad in parts.

The Westlands is very wealthy, developed and modern and also safe. The Central part of town is older and a bit dirtier. Also the central part is not too safe for foreigners after dark (my feeling). Overall a good city to visit.

Amazing location we saw giraffes and gazelles from the balcony window, the bar was amazing and the eagles nest restaurant is the best place we've eaten ever.

Nairobi is a lovely city, nature, shopping malls, good connections but be aware of people who try to give you their personal tel nr to pay for goods or services. If anything goes wrong, restaurants and hotels are not responsible.

Westlands is a seemingly affluent area a stones throw from the embassy community and city alike. The hotel precinct which includes a number of big name hotels is rather uninviting sadly

Safari is a must. Beware of the taxi drivers use the Uber app not extras other than tipping after trip.
"Really like the look and feel of this hotel. Have stayed here before when in Nairobi. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food consistently good. I feel like the food is a bit overpriced but it is definitely good and good portions. The alcoholic beverages are quite reasonable though with the exception of the wine. A glass of wine is very expensive and overpriced. A great experience overall "
