"I have stayed many times in Mai Hom Villa Resort. Quiet,clean and comfortable and a good stopping point when driving between Pattaya and Northern Thailand. A small Big C shop and dining options are within walking distance. Plenty of undercover parking spaces available is a bonus. "

Only adverse comments relates to the bathroom which was dated and in need of maintenance - for example shower was feeble and replacement of the leaky hose would have been beneficial. "Each room has a balcony, which makes convenient to hang out the washing. There is a shared van from the main road to the Nakhon Sawan Train Station, which is priced at 12 baht per person. I would recommend this no-frills hotel for budget travellers."

"Our hotel room was very dirty with many small insects, lizards and other mosquitos. They were running around. On complaining, they gave us a second room which was even worse. The manager was called and he was very aggressive with me. I feared for our lives. He shouted and pointed at me and moved towards me informing me that my complaint was not valid. Point black he refused to even try a third room and told us to get out of his hotel. Avoid at all costs!"

"Good: Good mattress. The breakfast is fine for the price. Ok wifi. Bad: Stayed in Superior room number 15. This room is right next to the reception and common area. So it's hard to calm down. There is constant chatter 3 meters from the bed from 7.00 to after midnight. So you can't sleep until everyone has left the common area. One should stop using this room. Cobwebs over the bed. Constantly wet floor in the bathroom because a faucet drips, so the water runs across the floor. So you stand on...

"Ok for short stay. Price was fair. It’s an older hotel and the staff seemed tired and over worked and quite likely under paid. It was ok for one night but I probably wouldn’t stay there again as there are likely better options available in a more walkable location "
