I was pleasantly surprised at how upscale this little motel is. It was spotless and has all the conveniences of a home away from home. Next time we are visiting Port Alberni I will be booking the Riverside Motel without hesitation.

The owner operators do an amazing job running this motel. Super clean, full fridge/freezer for storing groceries prior to next leg of trip up the Alberni Inlet, super flexible, and great parking for truck and boat trailer. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

This family run motel is so quaint. Our room offered two full queen beds and a kitchenette. It was spotless! I was pleasantly surprised how updated and modern our room was. The location was ideal and just a 3 min drive from our event. We would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable rooms with nice beds. Extremely clean and had everything you’d need. The only thing that was a bit odd was the parking. Slightly tight spots and had to back onto the road to get out but I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed one night in Port Alberni as part of our road trip from Victoria to Tofino, and it turned out to be a fantastic stopover. The accommodations were impressively spacious and ideal for our group of four adults and one dog. Our unit had everything we needed and more: two bedrooms, nice bathroom, a full kitchen, dining table, sofa, TV, and even a recliner. There was plenty of space to relax after a long drive. The entire unit was spotless. It’s clear the hosts take pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept space, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Whether you're passing through or staying longer, this spot in Port Alberni is a hidden gem. Spacious, clean, and pet-friendly—highly recommended!

In my past experience, motels are all the same, and usually a bit run down, but this motel was different. We were pleasantly surprised; the interior was updated, soft towels, comfortable higher quality pillows, and very cozy comforters. There was nice undercover seating where we visited with guests, and we felt very safe. I would highly recommend this lovely motel.
