A no frills bed & breakfast experience. The rooms were nice, but bathrooms had broken tiles by the shower. Breakfast was convenient to have for early mornings, but otherwise would skip. Overall a comfortable stay and a short 8-10 min walk to town, but felt a bit lacking.
The Sailor's Room on the 3rd floor is a great value for a single person. When I arrived, a staff member carried my large suitcase up for me. The room had a small blow dryer, TV, iron & board and a steamer. Wish all the amenities had been disclosed so I could have left my steamer at home. The twin bed was comfortable. There is an outlet by the bed. The closet has a lot of room to hang clothes and store your luggage. There are also several drawers to store your things. There is a chair in the room. The window has a distant view of the water. 3 minute walk to the Nantucket Hotel where the rest of my clan was staying and a short walk to town. It was quiet and another couple I knew was also staying there in a bigger room. The first 2 nights the A/C was on continuously, but I was ok with it because there was an extra blanket in the closet. The bathroom is small, but is ok as long as you are not a very large person. I recommend this room if you want to save money and don't mind being up on the 3rd floor. Not bad for a 255 year old B&B!
Great property. Easy check in and accommodating staff.

Historic 18th century home converted to B&B. Well located and potentially promoting for our eagerly anticipated weekend stay, but sadly under-delivered. Apart from an earnest housekeeper, whoever is managing the property must be asleep at the wheel. Property and attempted amenities are sorely lacking, especially given the $$$room rates.
This property was great. The staff were very kind and friendly. We loved the location and would recommend to anyone looking for something quaint, clean and good location..
Wonderful stay in a very historical house. Staff was the best!!! Breakfast was always wonderful. Perfect for a couple to stay and explore Nantucket - freindly and extremely helpful.
My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Cliff Lodge. They were welcoming to use from the start, and worked to meet our needs. We loved the location -- close to the center, but quiet and private.
Very pleasant place; manager Monica helped us find a great place to eat. Room very small -- but we knew that before going. Lots of outdoor places to sit; nice chats with other guests. Some outdoor furniture in need of repair, but did not interfere with lovely visit.
This hotel was close to everything. Monica who worked there was very helpful! The only complaint is the bathroom is very small but the bed was comfortable and the room was beautiful.
