"Lovely hotel with a great pool and setting. The positives were the staff, breakfast, pool. When we checked in the first room allocated smelt and clearly needed some plumbing work… the staff immediately moved us to a larger room which was kind. However the new room had no shower pressure at all and lacked some essential amenities such as hooks for hanging anything. The room was wonderfully large but sadly lacked personality. The dinner menu was fine but didn’t appear to change at all. Given that...

"Stunning restoration of a Baron's country estate house. Our suite included a loving area and enormous private patio with views of the agrarian countryside. Town of Realmonte was small and authentic, not touristy. Would stay again for the country feel. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Baglio lauria. The room was absolutely beautiful, the shower had amazing pressure and space and the grounds are absolutely stunning. You are surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, almonds and cacti that are just breathtaking. A true retreat. You must take a tour of Tenute Camilerri (vineyard) while you are there. Would definitely come back. Special thanks to Dario for taking care of us and making sure everything was perfect. "

"This place is a gem! The main house is very cozy and has interesting artwork and furnishings. The food is terrific and Magdalena, the cook, is a delightful character. You can cook with her which is lots of fun. The pool is very nice and large. The staff is also super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!"

"Ok first off, this is a beautiful property. The proprietors were welcoming and friendly. It is clean and safe. I did feel like their website and marketing photos were a little misleading, once I arrived because it is a very small operation with only a couple of rooms. Dinner wasn't offered because there were not enough guests, which I understand, but this place is pretty remote and driving 20 minutes to dinner and back was not something I had planned on having to do. "Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und modern. Leider hatte unser Zimmer im Schlafzimmer kein richtiges Fenster - nur eines, was in einen dunklen Innenschacht geht. Das liegt daran, dass die Unterkunft in einer kleinen Gasse sehr nahe der Altstadt liegt. Für eine Nacht war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Die Unterkunft war überwiegend sauber (ein paar fremde Haare im Bad) und die Minibar netterweise gefüllt, ebenso Kaffee-, Tee- und Kekse vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war...
