Wonderful property, clean, beautifully decorated, smelled great everywhere you go, helpful and accommodating staff, and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. The location is fantastic! 2 issuesโฆthe walls are paper thin and our neighbors pregamed all afternoon before going out and then postgame every night at 2:00 am. So, no afternoon naps for the kids and they were awakened at 2:00am all 4 nights. The staff was helpful and immediately asked them to settle down, but it was definitely not ideal. The second issue was the cost of room serviceโฆ$80 for 2 cheeseburgers and 2 cokes! The food, drinks and taxes were $60. Then, we had a $10 service fee, a $5 delivery fee, and a $5 tip to the server. Seemed extremely over the top to me, but on the plus side, the kids said the cheeseburgers were awesome!
Tempo was a great location if you donโt want to be too far away from downtown but also not right on top of the loudness. It was about a 10 min walk to downtown or a 3-5 min uber. While venturing outside of the broadway area we went to 12th South which also wasnโt a bad Uber ride about 15 min and also visited Opryland which was about 29 min. Good location. We did wish the pool was bigger. We did not experience the pool because the times we tried to it was extremely packed leaving barely enough room for people to have a standing room spot but the pool area is cool to see even if you donโt jump in for a swim. Have an app or drink at the outside bar.
Everything was lovely! The room was very clean and the AC worked well! The pool was nice with a lot of seating, both in the sun and in the shade. The walk to downtown was not far at all, 10 minutes or so. We will be back when we revisit Nashville!
Nice hotel in a good part of town. Iโd stay here again only if I was traveling without a car. The parking situation is the only negative, but itโs really very terrible. They donโt explain at check-in that the valet is a separate company not owned by the hotel. That company requires you to pay the valet fee for the entire stay the first time you get your car - if you donโt pay on the spot, you canโt take your car. Since nobody tells you until you try to get your car, it really feels like youโre getting scammed. On top of that, letโs just say the manager was not very patient and treated my questions like a big inconvenience. Whatโs worse is parking is ridiculously expensive at $60-65/night, so thatโs a lot of money to pay all at once and it really feels like theyโre scamming you even though itโs just a crappy system. Everything else about the hotel was great, but that type of experience has a way of leaving a bad impression.
Great location for our girls weekend. We loved the pool area, the cafe (coffee and breakfast) and the overall ambiance. I would highly recommend for anyone planning to stay in downtown Nashville... no noise from the street. Perfect!
One of the best hotel stays! Clean and comfortable and bonus had a steamer instead of an iron! Loved it! Would have preferred standard coffee k cups instead of the pods to pour water over but everything else was excellent!!
