Very cozy decoration in house and the room, see the lake from the balcony, free chilled drinks, delicious breakfast, very nice and helpful owner, I just stayed there last week, loved it. if revising there definitely stay there again

Great get away.

Great location. The owners, Keith and Darrin, are super hospitable, knowledgeable and courteous. The room where we stayed (Crystal Cove) was quaint and very relaxing. The linens and bed were super comfortable. The layout of the room was spacious and the decor was great. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the views from around Equinox Inn were warm and relaxing each day. It's quite accessible to New Braunfels and San Marcos for day trips. We certainly recommend this location for a weekend getaway.

Darrin and Keith were fantastic hosts with a quaint B&B meant to transport you out of the hustle and bustle. We really appreciated their flexibility with us as we were late for breakfast after our morning hike.

Wonderful spot with fantastic rooms. Fireplaces and a hot tub, super comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The couple who run the inn are lovely and kind hosts. I look forward to being able to stay here again.

This isn't a run of the mill B&B experience. This is a home and the hosts will bend over backwards to make you feel that way. My mother and I went during the holidays and they welcomed us in with open arms and made us feel like friends we hadn't met yet. They certainly made regulars out of the both of us. A perfect Texas B&B

We usually stay at your usual chain hotels, but for a change, we decided to try out a B&B, the Equinox Inn. It was fantastic! Unlike a chain, a B&B is dependent on the hosts, and Keith and Darrin were wonderful. They really made us feel at home. Their property is charming, even considering that it was freezing and icy that day. In the springtime, it would be even better. If you're in the San Antonio or Austin areas, Equinox is a perfect place to stay, smack dab in the middle of both, with two hosts who can give you great advice about the area. Strongly recommended.

Canyon Lake Getaway

The Equinox is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! We stayed in the Stargazer Room which was quite spacious and had a balcony with a stunning lake view. Darrin was simply a joy and provided exquisite hospitality. The breakfasts were scrumptious! Wildlife frequents the property and it’s unbelievably peaceful. Perfect place to go and unplug if you need to, or get away for some quiet work or writing. We will definitely go back!

Loved the deer in the yard!

Loved the deer in the yard! Breakfasts were outstanding with special appreciation for special dietary needs. Had car trouble and innkeeper was very helpful with providing info about local repair shops and suggesting that we could stay past the checkout time if we needed to. Very attentive and conscientious innkeepers. Very clean place, but wish they had worn masks.
