Kells Parish Church, New Galloway. Kells Parish Church is a rough granite cruciform kirk, the south limb formed by the battlemented tower. It stands in a fine setting above the Royal Burgh of New Galloway. The churchyard has interesting headstones including an Adam & Eve stone, Martyrs' memorials and a gamekeeper's grave 867126

Not our first stay at Cally Palace. We like the area. The hotel is set back in private grounds but within easy reach of the A75. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. Had a great stay. We were met by Karen when we first arrived, she (like all the staff) was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We had a lovely meal and the breakfast was also delicious. Room was perfectly clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.
