Very quiet, clean, and cozy! A classically vintage New Orleans B&B with a great breakfast spread. The staff were friendly and more than welcoming-we'll definitely return!

Das Haus besteht aus 3 Häusern, unser Zimmer war nicht gut. Das Doppelbett war 1,20 m breit (4ft) und sehr unbequem. Alles im Shabby Stile. Dusche und Waschbecken schmutzig. Teppich fleckig. Die Klimaanlage in der Wand mit Tape abgedichtet. Alles sehr hellhörig. Überwachungstechnik im Zimmer, warum? Wir sind eher abgereist! Das Frühstück war o.k.

I met you at breakfast and asked if everything was ok and your reply was Yes, all is good. Not a mention of any issues. You left the property at abut 5PM that same day in a hurry and said nothing. The bed is a normal size Double/Full that is found in all hotels/B&B's or guest houses and homes across the US. You are a very tall man. I suggest next place you go book a room with at least a Queen Size. If the sink or shower were dirty, that is not the norm. I am sorry for that. There is no tape on the ac , it is a seal on the wall. There is ABSOLUTELY no surveillance technology in any room or any of the houses. The house use to be a single residence and that is an old alarm system that we left in case we wanted to use it again. It is a flashing light and is not hooked up to anything. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in New Orleans.

We had the best breakfast of our tour in USA. A lot of things, good bread and NO plastic. The hotel is already old. Our room was small and smelled a little bit as old houses do.

The staff was fantastic. The property was nostalgic, we loved the ambiance. Hate the mattress and the toilet was made for elementary school kids.

Just a great location in Garden District, close to the trolley to Canal. Staff friendly and the breakfasts were outstanding. Can recommend highly.

Every time we stay here it is absolutely the best. I truly don’t think my partner and I will be staying any other place in NOLA. But with that being said, don’t you dare ruin this place other guests!!! The owner, Beatriz( Beatrice?) is such a kind and caring person. You can tell that her and her staff really care about the guests and their stay, I don’t think in the multiple stays we’ve had we’ve encountered any bad times regarding anything really. It feels like staying at an Out-of-Town Aunts House, so if you don’t like that feel, stay on Canal St. It’s so cozy in all the best ways, if you can’t appreciate feeling like one of the family, boo you, we don’t want you either! All in all 5 out of 5 stars, can’t wait to go back!!!!

Excellent staff and care. Very well located near restaurants and transportation. Historic building with some building quirks but most welcoming ownership group.

The B & B is perfectly located within walking to the WWII museum and downtown. A bit further, but still within walking is the French Quarter. quiet street with cute back yard garden. staff are very helpful and attentive and serve a lovely expanded continental breakfast- even cooking hot foods!

The place was a beautiful older group of buildings. It had charm and class. The area is quiet and safe. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The tram was just around the corner so you it was an easy ride to the French Quarter. The staff answered any questions I had and gave me a city map. Breakfast was served at a good time, not too early not too late and even made crepes one morning but had a good selection for cereal lovers or those who wanted healthy like boiled eggs and yogurt. I would stay again!

Parking on the street isn't ideal. We prefer secure parking, but no problems. Great staff. Enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairchild House B&B. It is a unique set of historic buildings so be prepared for squeaky wooden floors and other unique features but we really loved our experience!

Great breakfast. Easy parking. Quiet. Great location. Wonderful staff. Biggest complaint was the water pressure and lack of hot water. Otherwise, loved it!!

It had a nice ambiance. Beautiful breakfast area and breakfast was perfect with very helpful cook. Room could have been cleaner, baseboards were dirty & i didnt feel comfortable walking barefoot in room and bathroom. If I had brought slippers it wld have been more comfortable. But overall very good experience.

Beautiful rooms with a view
Room with a view & large comfortable bed. A particularly cold weekend in January, but staff had heat already warming room. Personnel made accommodations for our breakfast the next morning as we had a tour planned early. Breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of choices that included a veggie & egg casserole…wonderful all around. Parking on the street was very good, but knew there was gated/ enclosed area too. Thank you for everything!

I believe there is a table on one side of the bed. There is no way to put a table on the other side . Some of the bathrooms have no room for extra furniture. I sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Glad you enjoyed Breakfast. Thank you for the reivew.

It was fine for what it was. Not a great hotel. Towels were old, towel racks ripped out of the walls, chipping paint, etc.. If you know that going in-pretty cool stay, just a lot more run down than advertised.

Fantastisk morgenmad, god housekeeping, virkelig hjælpsomt personale, glimrende klimaanlæg. Luksus værelserne er virkelig behagelige, man bor også glimrende på standard. Godt vandtryk for byen, hvis bare man bor i stuen. Gå afstand til magazine st, 150 m op til city car som har dig inde i byen på 11-12 min. Kan klart anbefales!

Very nice and convenient for the convention center
Lovely B&B located within historic NOLA buildings, run by lovely people. Rooms cleaned daily, very nice breakfast (included), lots of charm. 10-15 min walking distance to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Historic Inn New Orleans Garden District
Great historic Inn. Built in 1841 so older buildings but decorated well with beautiful, authentic historical pictures and decor. Manager very helpful and friendly. Close to trolley or within walking distance to multiple restaurants. Loved the secure parking lot. Breakfast good. Would stay here again!

Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Fridge was greatly appreciated. The breakfast had good options and friendly service. Our only suggestion would be to start breakfast earlier. We had an early tour start (8am).

A Part of NoLa
Really enjoyed my stay at the Fairchild House. The history of the area makes you feel a real part of the old skool NoLa. Short 20-30 min walk to bourbon street or Mardi Gras World. Close enough to walk to everything and far enough to not hear all the noise, très bien.
