Great property. We’ll go back without a dog or vehicle- dog cost about $180 and parking about $260 for 5 days. Without them, it was a reasonable stay - I’d highly recommend it!

The room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was weird. We thought the hot water wasn't working but turns out you put it to COLD when you want HOT, and to HOT when you want COLD. ? maybe they should fix this since new people are checking in all the time and don't know this. Also maintenance was slow to respond with the requests we had. Gym/lobby bathrooms were out of order and there's a lot of construction and noise going on in lobby. No food at the bar. No coffee to be found in the hotel except for k-cups in your room and they charge you for water which is my pet peeve. Also, they charge $23 per night for a "Historical Fee" which I didn't know about until check in. I thought this hotel was going to be more economical but with all the water charges and other fees it was not a deal and not worth the other inconveniences.

3 stars because the room was nice. We spoke to hotel staff about arriving after hours. We were told there would be a note, a map and a key upon arrival. The note said our room number was 20. There was NO map or instructions as to how to get to the room. This is at midnight with my 8 month old (sleeping) baby. My partner wandered around the property for 20 mins looking for room 20 but never found it. We called the after hours number, no one answered so we left a message. NO ONE EVER CALLED US BACK. EVER. some random lady staying there helped us find the property ACROSS the street that had the rest of the rooms in it. Got to our room after 45 mins of looking for room. I wouldn’t have even left this review if someone had called us back.

The decor was opulent. There was no pool and rooftop acess. They were doing a lot of maintenance. This is good they are updating and maintaining. However, it was cumbersome maneuvering the elevator. I thibk I will stay again.

Le Pavillion is one of the Grand Dames of New Orleans: a vast and gorgeous marble lobby adorned with enormous chandeliers leads to deep red tufted sofas in the newly renovated bar and lounge. Rooms are well appointed and in good condition. Staying in the central business district is much quieter and calm than the French quarter which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurant offerings too. My only complaint is that we went without a tv for a full day because they were upgrading the AV systems and ran into technical difficulties. And I do wish they would reopen the rooftop pool.

Although going through some light remodeling and a merger, everything was still clean and staff was amazing.

When housekeeping came they didn’t change the sheets when they made the bed up and my phone didn’t work the whole stay so I had to go down to the front desk whenever I needed something I got stuck on the elevator nobody was aware of it after 20 mins the door opened

I visited the hotel when it wasn't exactly at its best. The kitchen was being refurbished, making restaurants mandatory; the gym was being refurbished, so that option was out; the water in the entire hotel was turned off at 11am on Tuesday for a maintenance issue potentially for up to 4 hours but fortunately less; and the provided hair dryer didn't work in the bathroom outlet and had to be used in the main room area (test/reset buttons had no effect on the outlet). Under normal circumstances, I would have rated the hotel highly in all categories, but happened to show up when the warp drive was down and there were some gaping holes in the hull.

This was our 3rd stay at Le Pavilion. Our first was pre Katrina and the second several years later. Returning this time we saw many changes, some in progress. One of the things we loved previously was the decor and appointments from years gone by. There had been a beautiful historic bar which is now gone, and the room furnishings are glass and chrome. Apparently our lovely boutique hotel is becoming a Marriott. While I understand that furnishings need to be replaced or refurbished, why must they be 20th century modern? The desk staff is great. The hotel is very clean, but housekeeping neglected to make up the room and give us clean towels one day. We did get some money refunded. We didn’t use the dining room; it opened while we were there. There was drywall work being done which didn’t seem to interfere with our stay

Beautiful clean space. Staff was kind, professional. Room was larger than expected. Bed was very comfortable. Minor street noise. Strong water pressure in shower. Overall top notch. I will stay again.

Cannot recommend Le Pavillon enough. Gorgeous hotel, very clean rooms, fantastic location. Front desk staff were very nice. Would stay here again!

Our reservation was not correct, and we had to move rooms to try and get something that would accommodate our group. Yes, they worked with us, and I was happy about that, but the errors were not good. Thanks to CeCe for doing all she could! Still, I do not know if the charges are correct and have not been pleased with the communication from the hotel. The hotel is also under renovation right now! Entire halls were closed off while they do the renovation, and we would regularly hear saws and hammering during our stay. The hotel is also located on a main street and traffic noise was rather bad. We also noticed things being dirty, with used towels in "clean" rooms, and leaking toilets. We actually moved a trash can under the side of the toilet to catch the water from of the tank each time we flushed it! It was a neat and historic hotel, but I don't think I would recommend it to others.

Staff were extremely professional, flexible, thoughtful, polite, and competent. Disappointed in lack of signage in the bathroom encouraging towel reuse. Otherwise excellent.

It is Historic and elegant with PBJ's in lobby for quests coming in from a long day. The breakfast has healthy choices.

Was great accomodation and convenient to everything. Staff friendly and breakfast excellent at reasonable price. Would stay again for sure. Only slight negative the pricing for parking $51 a bit steep compared to other hotels in the area. However that would not deter me from staying again.

The pictures are very deceiving in the hotel is very run down the bar looks nothing like the picture bar there's no study or book room like it shows there's no pool like it shows online it was shut down five years ago

Loved the beautiful esthetics! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Great to have a place that keeps with tradition serving PB and J sandwiches! Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed our stay during Mardi Gras. Room was comfortable. Close to street cars and parade routes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall good stay.
