What an amazing find! I only wish we could have stayed longer. Brand new property, very thoughtful curated! Rooms the balcony was lovely spacious and clean. Water and snacks provided for free was a nice touch! Great location, walking distance from shops and cafes! Definitely will be back.

Everything was amazing. The location, the amenities, the STYLE. My wife and I took stood for a few nights with our new puppy and we had an amazing time there. I loved the style of the hotel and the rooms were beautiful. The balcony view was really nice at dawn and sunset. Recommend 1,000%.

This hotel is beautiful, and the convenient access to nearby local trails was a major highlight. I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic amenities, particularly the morning coffee bar, the sauna, the steam room, and the thoughtful touch of having a turntable with records in the room. Special thanks to James, who greeted us at check-in. His genuine enthusiasm for both the hotel and the local area was contagious and made us feel welcome right away. Thank you for providing such a memorable stay. I will certainly be recommending your hotel to others and look forward to returning again.

The views and room design were beautiful, and we enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms. However, we expected the small indoor pool to feel more like a hot tub. The water was too cool for us to relax comfortably, although a staff member said the temperature was normal. Service also varied: the woman on the first day wasn’t very welcoming when we asked for coffee, while the man the next morning was warm and friendly. The New Paltz area is lovely for walks and a short getaway, but we would only consider staying again at a lower rate.

Nice location. Great ambiance in the lobby. Very clean and spacious room with a view of the forest, right on the bicycle path. The pool was broken. Bicycles were available for rent.

The decor is cute and fun. Room was nice. They advertise that they have hot tubs. There are none on the property and after a long hike that day, that’s one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The person at the front desk just laughed when I mentioned the hot tubs. The pool was also not working so the spa left quite a bit to be desired.

This is a gem- my only hesitation in writing a review would be the fear that all will flock to the property and I won't be able to get a reservation! We stayed within the first couple weeks of opening, and the place is spotless. The amenities are amazing, and I hope they never go away (i.e., unlimited lattes from 7am-9pm, beautifully crafted, to enjoy during your stay; farm fresh local blueberries just waiting in the lobby, etc.). The spa is a luxurious touch- the whole thing wasn't up and running when we were there, but we enjoyed the sauna. The staff are really friendly and personable, they truly seem like they enjoy making guests' visits comfortable. I had a couple of unavoidable tech issues with my reservation, and the staff were so helpful and made sure to make things right. The rooms are adorable (I don't think I need to mention the balcony, I'm sure everyone else will, what a nice touch), the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the heated floors and specialty toiletries in the bathroom made it feel like a true getaway. I can't wait to go back!

This is a small, new hotel, nestled along the railtrain in New Paltz. It's "along" in the sense that the rooms are lined up, balconies facing the railtrail, and immediately beyond (through a treeline) the Wallkill. It's well sited on a beautiful site. Of course the railtrail is convenient, as is Water Street Market, which also follows the rail trail. It's also just a short walk into town, to the bridge across the Wallkill and a trial that leads to the ridge, and up the railtrail and to the left, Huegenot Street. It's a fine place to stay, drive to wherever you want to be, but to have wonderful walks from the hotel. The hotel itself is carefull and well designed, constructed and maintained.

We went there in part because of the spa, but it wasn't working while we were there, and the staff made no effort to address it or even apologize. Expected them to still be working out the kinks given that it is a new property, but customer service could have been stronger.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at New Paltz Way! The property is beautiful, aesthetic, and calming. I actually plan to create content highlighting my experience. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, and after a 1.5-hour drive, I arrived around 8:30 PM. Because of my late arrival, I felt I missed out on a proper introduction to the property and don’t recall checkout time mentioned . My biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of communication surrounding checkout. Apparently, the checkout time was included in an email, but while on vacation, I wasn’t actively checking my inbox. I genuinely thought I was checking out on time (12). No one mentioned that I was late or that an additional fee would apply. After checking out, I asked for a coffee to go (I’d only had one during my stay) and was told no because I’d already checked out, which felt odd considering I’d literally just checked out seconds before. In hindsight, I think it was related to my late checkout. It wasn’t until I checked my credit card that I discovered a $90 “option” charge, which wasn’t disclosed or even told to me at checkout like “Hey! We’re charging you because you’re late.” I understand hotels have policies, but a simple, friendly heads-up would have made all the difference. My frustration isn’t with the policy itself, but the lack of transparency. It made me feel uncomfortable because it makes me seem irresponsible. It’s unfortunate because I enjoyed, but this awkward ending left a sour impression
