Charming B&B in the center of Newburyport about 3 blocks from the water. Easy walking distance to river walk, multiple restaurants of varied menus, and charming shops (no chains). Easy driving to most north shore locations. Inn keeper was gracious and provided answers to questions about what's in town. Rooms were good size with modern bath facility. Good breakfast offering. Only thing that could have been better was low bandwidth WiFi, but I guess that's not that important for a B&B experience. We go to B&Bs whenever we can and this was a really good one.

My husband and I stayed in the Merrimac room, and we enjoyed our three nights’ stay immensely! The hotel itself is a historic landmark and is very well maintained by the owners, Caitlin and her husband Chris. The breakfast in the garden room was plentiful and delicious. The onsite parking was a big plus, as was the location to all the downtown restaurants and attractions. We hope to return to Newburyport, and will definitely stay here again. The Clark Currier Inn is the benchmark that I will use for all future B&B stays. The accommodations are very clean, comfortable, and convenient. The facility is very nicely appointed with the appropriate furnishings. Even though we appreciated everything about the Inn itself, everything takes second place when compared to the breakfast they serve. I can't say enough good about the food! We stayed three very comfortable nights here and were so happy we did. If we ever travel back to Newburyport, we will book this location again.
