"Amazing stay Staff very professional but friendly and welcoming We asked for a charging parking spot and it was reserved ready for us when we arrived The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable Fresh milk water and Italian biscuits provided We ate in the restaurant at tea time and the food was amazing Our breakfast was equally good We haven’t stayed at such an all round amazing place for ages Well done to everyone concerned We hope to be back soon "

"First room that was offered was a single room with a king size bed in, second marginally better. For the £140 nights stay, without breakfast was very expensive for the quality of hotel and room. Have stay before and the room we had then was much better, so the pic of the draw if it’s fully booked. Also a nespreso machine in the room and no pods??? "

"Plenty of parking, room good, bathroom good and breakfast good. Not enough tables in the dining room for breakfast "

"The main issue was the very strong dog smell in our room. Our stay was during snowy weather, and the room was extremely cold until the portable electric heater had warmed the room up - this took about 5 hours, so I'm glad we didn't check in close to bed time. The shower was an unpredictable dribble that leaked onto the bathroom floor. The kettle was broken so was continuously boiling and the handle was extremely hot, this is of course a safety concern if we had have left it unattended. I was expecting a slightly rough and ready stay due to the bargain price, but I couldn't overlook or resolve the terrible smell. The hole in the blind was a bit unsettling. On a positive note, the bedding and towels were clean and the parking was convenient. The landlady did try to find another heater for us, which we appreciated, however the heater was broken. "

"We went to the ripon races and this was an excellent base to go from . The cottage was gorgeous and the host gail was amazing very helpful and guided us on taxis . The nicest part was the extra touches gail put in the cottage for us prosecco biscuits all little extra things you might forget like toothbrushes very thoughtful of her . Thanks for our stay lisa and paul xx"
