Probably the best hotel in Newcastle; beautiful rooms, walk in shower and a tub if you want a soak. Quayside is a great location with entertainment options aplenty but we had a cocktail in the bar and dinner in the restaurant- very good white Russian and steak bearnaise plus arugula and parmesan salad which was perfection. Only choice for us when staying in Newcastle to visit family.

Parking was in a disconnected garage across a street and behind the building. Drop off bags at the front before heading to parking which is uphill and at least 200 yards away if not further. Hotel is accessed via a private road so our gps expressed an alert about that but there was no restriction on driving it. Drive to airport was very convenient and about 20 minutes. Convenient gas station access along the route.
