Excellent choice for our first trip to Newport! People are so friendly, accommodations are first rate. Beautiful nautical decor , lovely living room where meals and the bar are located plus valet parking and very walkable to everything! Wonderful staff. Every single person we encountered was genuinely friendly and professional!!

Nice hotel, would stay again, liked the “living room” lobby, rooms had unique layout and decor. Very nice, helpful staff but lean staffing, sometimes could not find people. Free ice cream cups! But no real amenities. Rooftop bar had great view but lacked ambience and was a bit tired looking (old worn green carpet, fake ivy in walls, empty cups, not much creativity to using the space or hiding or incorporating the mechanical roof elements). Good location for walking and exploring.

The staff at the hotel was phenomenal!! Every single staff member went out of their way to ensure we and our dogs had a great weekend. The lobby lounge was beautiful and relaxing with great food, drinks and service!

The Brenton Hotel is absolutely beautiful! It’s located in such a great central Newport location right on the harbor and mi kids loved the free ice cream in the pantry! My husband and I loved the cocktails- they were along some of the best ones we’ve had in recent memory. We can’t wait to come back.

Terrific, newer hotel in the downtown Newport area. Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms with an easy walk tomeverything Newport has to offer. Rooms are large and the ones overlooking the harbor provide amazing sunset views. Staff was super friendly as well, especially the valets. Highly recommend the hotel winning in hotel when in Newport.
