“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”

“The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. The pool is NOT 24 hrs as advertised and you have to pay. The property can be a bit difficult to find because the name plaque of the plot is covered by an overgrown hydrangea. If you use what 3...

“We had a lovely 3 night stay in apartment 4 which had an amazing sea view. The apartment was nicely decorated, was bright and airy and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return.”
