"I loved staying at this hotel and appreciated it even more after moving to the Marriott, which seemed very cold and sterile compared to the Niwa. From the super polite front desk people (we received a very deep bow from one when boarding the elevator to our room the first time) to the little touches such as an air cleaner/humidifier, tea service tray and bluetooth speaker in the room, the Hotel Niwa is a very nice place to stay. You feel like you are experiencing the real Japan here."

"Very convenient drop off from airport limousine bus right at the door. It is quite close to the subway station. It is quite a walk from the main tourist area if you want to be very close to the shopping area. It is on the more quiet side of Shinjuku. There is a lot of good restaurant nearby. The hotel itself is clean and staff are very nice. Room is super small but expected in Tokyo area."

"The hotel is the place to stay for fun in bar and lobby. Happening place, bakery in hotel (delicious pastries and breakfast). Love the art in this hotel! Beds so comfortable. Located right across the street from a park where awesome restaurants and Starbucks. I totally loved this place. "
