The place has some huge problems standing in the way of itself. It was clean, but thatโs all it had going for it. The website for the hotel stated the restaurant was open on Sunday and Monday nights, but it was closed. There is absolutely nothing open in all of North Creek on a Sunday or Monday night for restaurants in winter, so misrepresenting your business on your website really sucked. The bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable (literally like sleeping on a sheet of plywood with one thin blanket) and the faux wood flooring in our room was coming up at the seams when you walked across it. No cell service in the area, so when we had no hot water in our room, how could we even call? We ran the water for over five minutes and it never got hot. As we were leaving, a helpful rep ran the water in the room next to ours for a long time, and then our room had hot water. Unless youโre diehard to stay right near Gore mountain, just get a room in Lake George for cheaper and youโll have a more comfortable stay.
