"As always, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated me when I asked for a later checkout time, and were able to answer my questions re: bus fare/times. It's really convenient to be able to catch the Airport Express bus on the other side of the street from the hotel and be taken (in a roundabout way) to the airport. My room was spacious and had a view of the harbour and of the NSCAD building, but there was hair from someone else's stay on the shower wall and I noticed on my last day that the bedsheets had stains on them. Also there were a lot of extension cords just laying on the floor around the room; perhaps necessary because it's an old building and there aren't enough outlets, but it looks bad."

"We stayed here as part of a group for a dance competition for 6 nights. The price and location were amazing. The staff were courteous and kind. The restaurant (Gio’s), bar and room service was great. The rooms are a bit dated but they’re super clean, spacious and the bedding was so comfortable. The pool, sauna and hot tub were a wonderful way to unwind. I’d definitely stay here again. "
