โWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mountainbrook and enjoyed everything about it. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A quiet, beautiful setting and Breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back!

โOur stay was perfect and we booked again for another trip next month. I was thrilled to see a larger fridge! Wonderful for packing coolers on hot August days!
The room was super clean and it was wonderful coming back to a perfectly made bed. Check-in was smooth and friendly, with a call to check on us as we were running late. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it certainly looked inviting!โ
โI loved it and will only stay there when Iโm in the area again! I totally dug the old school 50s-60s charm of the decor, nice spacious grounds with benches and seats for relaxing, super friendly and helpful front desk service and my room was spotless.
These throwback motels are vanishing, we need more Red Ranchโs!โ
โI'm not giving it one star because the place met my expectations, which were quite low at the outset. The cottage was of mid-century design that is badly in need of renovation (broken fixtures, uncovered electrical outlets, mold/mildew growth in the bathroom). It was a non-smoking room, but clearly people were smoking there. I think the place was emblematic of the Catskills as an area that once was a great place to visit, but has fallen into disrepair over the past several decades. โ
โPet friendly and nice green area to walk them. Set back off the road so very quiet.
No snack or drinkโs available but you could walk to the convenience store across the street.โ
โLaureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. She made a delicious hot breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and eggs how we like them served with tea, coffee or water.
