Sandy shores and birds of paradise are great been staying here for over 15 years I know owner he is great guy keeps these places going great year after year

Staff especially MO was very professional. Didn't really care for the crowd of people on the 2nd floor being loud and in the pool well after 8pm. I will definitely be back there this summer!!

Housekeeping

This place is pretty nice, just needs better housekeeping and much better quality cleaning products. Our room smelled like strong moth balls when we arrived. The smell went away by the next morning. However, it was very noticeable once we entered the room.

When we got into the room, it was full of gnats flies. We saw a roach on the floor which my toddler pointed out. Cleanliness is horrible in this motel. Definitely not something I was expecting and would never recommend to any one if you expect to have a nice clean stay.

Our door could be opened from the outside just by pushing it open. We told the front desk, he checked it out and said he would have someone come fix it. It was still not fixed when we left.

Horrible Experience

Starting off with no parking . Spending over a hour to wait for the owner to come out and figure out parking. Hotel should have enough spots for atleast one car per room. While sitting out side there were multiple cockroaches crawling around. Highly upset with my stay and the cost for such a run down place. I will not recommend

Rooms were very nice and clean good stay only complaint was when attempting to check in no one was in the office, another person told me I had to go somewhere else to check in, wasn’t far at all just wish I knew beforehand.Got to the check in place door was locked knocked for 10 minutes called and they said they’ll be there took about 5 minutes. Great stay overall kitchen and cooking materials were nice and clean our doors were hard to open and close but we managed

The location was great you are very close to the boardwalk/beach. The beds were comfortable and they provided you towels but no housekeeping services if you stayed less than two nights. The outdoor pool was clean. Some downside stuff, the kitchenette area had tiny sugar ants, I had to spray them with my bug spray. They were in the bathroom too, but not a lot. When I open the refrigerator cooler it smelled like surf and turf. Probably from the previous tenants dinners. The toilet bowl ran continuously we did try to adjust it but it wouldn’t stop. The bathroom window did not have a screen and we were on the first floor. Screens are needed to keep bugs out. The first night we were there there was an unruly guest two doors down sitting outside being very loud, talking loud and non stop, no one was arguing but it was 12 AM and It went on for quite a while. If you do go there, try to get the third floor you won’t have to hear the people walking above you at night, ha ha. I did let management know when they were very understanding.

Needs updates. Didn’t like to have to walk to other property to check in No coffee pot in room. No towel service. Having to have to take your own trash out. Not enough seating at the pool. No extra trash bags. Not enough pillows

The location was convenient and room seemed cleaned. Outside of that there wasn’t much offered. Ice and coffee were available 1/2 a block away as there was none on site. No hooks or towel racks available in entire room. No type of noise curfew enforced. We had loud partying going on in parking lot until 3:30AM.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Great location, 1 block from the boardwalk. Lots of places to walk to. You can see great fireworks from the hotel on Friday nights. The rooms are old, small, and poorly lit. Don’t walk around in the room barefoot.

Very close to beach and boardwalk. Check-in was at a different hotel down the street. Pool was green, bathroom was dated and dingy. There were no towels or toilet paper. The sheets were sandy and dirty. The tile floor was greasy. The small single window added to the dungeon-esque feel of the room.
