"Have known this hotel for a number of years and it was one of the best in the area but now needing a facelift without spoiling its design. "We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door.
