"My college friend and I "met in the middle" and stayed here for the weekend. We loved our lake view room at the lodge. The view was so wonderful! Everyone was kind and helpful. We wish there was map that had the property and the hiking trails. We did use both maps, but the hiking map doesn't show where the lodge or front entrance is for reference. We went to the seafood buffet with a reservation on Friday. The food did not look appealing on the buffet and some of it wasn't good at all- shrimp and grits primarily. The veggies didn't look good but tasted good. We enjoyed the gumbo and the fried shrimp. For the charge, we were disappointed. We would order from the menu next time."

"Great experience! Clean, plenty of space, large tvs, lots of places to eat nearby along with a Walmart. Quiet area. Air worked perfect room was very comfortable. Beds were plush. Only drawback was the trash bin was behind the building in a sketchy location. Otherwise we felt very safe. Office staff was very nice when they were at the front desk."
