“Room was spacious and clean. Property is a little dated and worn. Breakfast was good, but in a completely different building and downstairs.”

“Pros: Central spot downtown. Beautiful bathroom, large room. Nice to have a bar in the hotel, nice bartender and good cocktails. Convenient to other restaurants in town. Cons: The windows in the room looking out to the courtyard were so dirty that we couldn’t get much light into the room. A good deep clean of the whole building could do wonders. Tried to get seated in the restaurant, but the staff seemed busy and ignored us so we left. (Had a great dinner at The Grotto nearby).”

“We’ve stayed this property before and we’ve always loved the property. This time it just felt different. They’re charging $15 a night for parking even though you’re staying there. The bathroom floor and carpet in the room were not very clean. The bathroom at the marina was out of service. The weight staff was OK, but not as good as it’s been in the past. Château on the lake used to be more upscale. Now I would say it is not quite meeting that standard. We probably will not go back. They did...
