Don’t expect warm smiles at the reception; the front desk staff were rather expressionless. That said, the restaurant and bar staff were more pleasant and helpful.
If you’re traveling around Iceland, it’s best not to expect typical hotel service as you’d find elsewhere.
Still, this place was comfortable enough for a short stay and provided the basics I needed.”
“Spacious rooms with clean facilities and cute but also informational art about icelandic culture. This location offered many on-sight amenities like tea kettles, microwaves, dishes, silverware, towels, and a common area. Really great stay for those needing or wanting to stay in between husavik and akureyri. Staff was extremely helpful as well when we were running late for our check in, all we had to do was message them and let them know we were running late and they sent us access instructions....
