“Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!”

“Two issues, first was with the shower, it was in a tub with a rubber non-slip mat and the grab bar was not in a good place. Second, in this day and age tall toilets should be a requirement. At minimum a grab bar should be provided. Sitting on a low toilet with arthritic knees is like sitting on the floor.”

“Parking was non existent. Advised to park next to the storage containers. No they’re not responsible for damage to your car. Their problem is your problem. Ridiculous. The hot water handle in the bathroom sink wasn’t attached. Front desk sent maintenance people to examine it. Said the valve needed to be replaced another day. No hot water in the sink for the day. So nothing in the bathroom was cleaned with hot water, and cleaning person didn’t report it. Again, their problem is my problem”

“Very comfortable hotel with generous amenities and friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get to and in a great location, with an unobstructed view of the Red River and downtown Shreveport, and right next to a beautiful river promenade and an outlet mall with a variety of shops and restaurants.”
