"The room could have been cleaner dust and dirt on bathroom door. Soap dispenser was empty. Staff was friendly. It was easy to check in. Kid friendly . Wait time for elevators were lengthy . "

"First unit we were put in had no heat and no hot water. Also, it had not been renovated since the 80’s. Someone came to “fix it” while we were out the first day but we came back to no heat and no hot water again. I requested that we be moved to another unit and we were accommodated. The other unit has been remodeled and was very nice."

"One of our first nights here, we had neighbors that decided to put on loud club music at midnight which woke up the entire family. We called the front desk to send up someone to tell them to keep it down and they said that security would be upstairs shortly. An hour went by and the music didn’t stop. The second phone call to the front desk was made, and we learned that they had “no record” of our first call. Fortunately the folks next door only stayed two nights because security and the front desk were useless. Another issue is the WiFi policy. As soon as we got to the room, two of our party of four logged into the hotel WiFi. That essentially locked them in for our entire 6 day stay, meaning the other two people had no internet in the room for a week. I’ve stayed at the Flamingo before and this is a newer policy where more than two devices have to pay $14.99 per day for internet. We talked with the hotel IT department to see if we could switch users and they said “it should reset” every 24 hours. It did not. They told us we could pay $14.99 per day for the other two people. It just wasn’t worth it. Won’t stay here again. "
